During the last years Rome has become one of Italy’s most active center for contemporary architecture. Beside famous buildings of modern design created by important architects such as Massimiliano Fuksas, Renzo Piano, Richard Meier, Zaha Hadid, Odile Decq, Santiago Calatrava, King & Roselli, various public and private projects are going on.
A new cultural awareness is slowly changing Rome from a static and historic city to a more dynamic European center for cultural events.
The focus of our architect programs in Rome is on thematic issues of modern and contemporary architecture and urban design. From rationalist works to modern design, without forgetting to place each work in its historical context.
Our theme guidings and study visits are primarily thought for architects, engineers and other groups from the construction industry. The guides are architects working in Rome since many years and with a great knowledge and passion for design, architecture, urban planning, etc. We can arrange meetings with project managers and contractors and we can organize visits to various buildings that are not open for the public.
The architect programs are custom made according to every single groups need and desire and can include one visit, a half or full day or several days program. Different kinds of buildings can be included in the program: houses, infrastructures, museums, buildings for education, offices, sport complexes.
