Do you like Italian wine?

If so this tour is perfect for you, because you will visit
some of the most famous wine district in Italy and taste some
of the best producers wines. Not only wine but many small and
big art cities are included in this itinerary.
Day 1 Arrival
Arrival to Malpensa Milan transfer to the small village of La
Morra
Stay for 3 nights in a private Villa just 10 minutes walk from
the centre.
La Morra is surrounded by wine yards and 1/3 of all Barolo wines
is produced here.
The first wine tasting will be hold in the "Cantina Sociale"
in Morra followed by dinner in a nearby restaurant.
Day 2 Cherasco and Marchesi di Barolo
In a picturesque medieval Cherasco with 7 churches and 10
palaces we make a walk before visiting a producer of Grappa We
taste different grappa and if you like by some example from the
nearby shop. Lunch on your own before visiting the winery of Marchese
Barolo and taste his wines.
Day 3 Alba - Gancia - Barbaresco
By minibuss full days visits. Alba is a nice little village
well known all over for its truffle. Enjoy the centre and all
the nice food shops before going to Barbaresco that are a small
village surrounded by wine yards. The Barbaresco has origins from
the Romans and the historian Tito Livio named this wine in his
"Roman History" Here we are going to visit a famous
winery and taste wine. Lunch on your own
Afternoon visit to the Gancia production in Canneli back to La
Morra and dinner on your own
Day 4 Certosa di Pavia - Winery in Oltrepo Pavese
Departure
to the region Lombardia by bus on the way we stop to make visit
in the famous abbey of Pavia. That was built by Gian Galeazzo
Visconti to the family's grave church. The construction of the
abbey was finished in 1452 and the church in 1473 Make a visit
to the shop where the monks sell herbal products. Not far from
Pavia there are a huge wine district called Oltrepo Pavese.
We are going to visit a winery to taste some wine with some bread
and cheese. Brescia is our next destination, we stop to sleep
for 1 night in farm house. Dinner by your own in a near by village.
Day 5 To Florens by train - private transfer to San Gimignano
Departure and private transfer to the train station in Brescia.
Upon arrival to Florens private transfer to San Gimignano for
4 nights stay in a central located 3* hotel.
Explore San Gimignano by your own.
Day 6 Visit Florens
Take the local bus to reach Florens. Your guide will wait for
you and make sightseeing tour by foot to the most famous sites.
The Dome, Piazza Signoria, San Lorenzo, Ponte Vecchio etc.
Stay as long you like and take the local bus back to San Gimignano.
Day 7 Cooking lesson in Chianti
Your driver will bring you to a farm in the Chianti district.
Welcomed by the owner that will show you around before the cooking
lesson start. Followed by dinner and wine from the property.
In the afternoon you will make a tour in the beautiful Chianti
landscape and stop for a visit and tasting by a well known wine
maker.
Day 8 Visit Siena
Take
the local bus to Siena. Upon arrival your guide will meet you
to show you the town during 3 hours walking
Siena is a very interesting art city, with a well preserved medieval
and renaessans centre. The Dome, baptistery, and the beautiful
Piazza Il Campo are some of the highlights you will enjoy.
Lunch can be reserved in an excellent restaurant just near Il
Campo.
Not included in this tour. Go back to San Gimignano whenever you
want.
Day 9 Montalcino - Pienza - Bagno Vignone - Civitella d'Agliano
Departure
by private car - minibus to visit one of the most beautiful areas
of Tuscany.
First Montalcino thar is well known all over the world for its
fantastic wine Brunello da Montalcino. Visit and wine tasting.
Pienza is a small village that was transformed by the pope Pius
II, in the 1500 century, to a perfect reinaesans town, enjoy your
visit and lunch by your own. 
Before living this area make a stop in Bagno Vignone a small Spaa
and a delicious village where the central "piazza" is
a basin with hot mineral water.
The day ends in another small village situated in the northern
hills of the region Lazio. In the centre of the village a well
known winemaker has transformed an old property in a nice hotel
The wine cellar is situated just bellow the hotel. You stay here
for 2 nights. Dinner accompanied by wines from the cellar.
Day 10 Excursion to south Tuscany
This
part of Tuscany is worth a visit, for the many art cities and
for some interesting wines and because this is a part of the region
far away from the mass tourism
Pitigliano, built in the local tuff stone merit a visit,
the small narrow streets, the little synagogue, and the big castle,
small shops and wine cellars are some of the sights. Taste the
wine before leaving for another small tuff village Sovana
once a very important city, today remains buildings and some very
interesting churches.
Scansano another village situated in the northern part
of the Maremma district produce a famous wine Morellino di Scansano.
We will make a wine tasting in a wine cellar, before going back
to your hotel.
Day 11 Orvieto on your way to Rome
Surly
you will depart from this place wishing to come back soon.
By private transfer you will visit Orvieto and taste a glass of
Orvieto Classico before boarding the train to Rome.
Upon arrival to the central station, take a taxi to your central
located 3* hotel for 2 nights.
Day 12 Rome

Local guide will meet you at your hotel for morning visit in downtown.
Shopping and visits by your own.
Day 13 Departure day
